Opis

Premiera "Alchemy Live" odbyła się w 1984 roku pomiędzy wydaniami albumów studyjnych Dire Straits - "Love Over Gold" i "Brothers In Arms". Wraz z longplayem ukazała się również kaseta z koncertem, który - aż do teraz - nie doczekał się wydania na DVD i Blu-Ray. Dźwięk i obraz zostały poddane cyfrowej obróbce, dzięki czemu występy zespołu można obejrzeć w jakości HD (Blu-Ray) oraz dźwięku 5.1 surround. Nowy miks jest dziełem Chucka Ainlaya, wcześniej nagrodzonego Grammy za pracę nad wersją 5.1 "Brother In Arms",Materiał koncertowy został zarejestrowany podczas kilku występów i zawiera najważniejsze utwory z pierwszych czterech krążków grupy, wśród których nie zabrakło tak ponadczasowych piosenek jak: "Sultans Of Swing", "Romeo & Juliet", "Tunnel Of Love" czy "Private Investigations".
